Evaluation
Prior to prescribing contact lenses, our Doctor measures what level of vision correction you require. Refractive error (commonly known as nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism and/or presbyopia) is evaluated by measuring how the eyes focus when a series of different lenses are placed in front of them. After determining the level of refractive error, our Doctor work with you to determine which contact lens material and design re best for your visual needs and lifestyle. Contact lenses are available in either soft or rigid gas permeable form. . . replaced daily, weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly, depending on what type of lens is best for you. Specialized contact lenses, such as multifocal contact lenses and astigmatism-correcting lenses are also available.
